After the release of Joyner Lucas’ new single “ADHD”, the man of the hour Will Smith went on Instagram to pay tribute to him.

To further intensify the tribute, “Will” came up with an elaborate video, in which Joyner puts on many of Smith’s iconic cinematic looks. From Jim West to Agent J, Smith’s entire film career received the treatment of the slideshow, reinforced by several referential words from the ADHD rapper. “I’m in Cali with a waistcoat, it’s the Wild Wild West”, he recalls, slipping into a reference to the often decried but strangely seductive western steampunk. “They must not know me, they cannot control me because I am not me, Robot,” he continues, before declaring Smith as his idol. “Yeah, I grew up on a legend and I have to show it. ”
It didn’t take long for the song to air to Smith’s ears, and the iconic actor went to Instagram to make love to Joyner. “Joyner Lucas, yo, this joint is crazy.! He declares, his quarantine beard in full effect. “Dude, I’m humbled and honored. One of the lines you say in there, “you inspire people and you don’t even know it. It was my intention from day one to go out into the world and put in positive energy and be able to use my creations to inspire and uplift and empower. I love what you’ve done, it’s creative. Brother, I am humiliated and I hope to meet you one day. ”
Who knows – maybe when all this madness is over, the couple will sit down for a beer and a good chat. Are you excited for that ADHD album?
