Bayern Munich have proposed a swap agreement for Manchester City to win Leroy Sane away from the Premier League champions.
Sane has always been linked to a move to Bayern, and a deal was supposed to be made last summer before Sane picked up the serious injury that has kept him from playing this season.
Bayern suggested a swap deal that would allow the versatile Austrian international David Alaba go to Etihad, and Sane go the other way, according to BILD (via FourFourTwo)
Alaba’s agent Pini Zahavi presented the idea to the English club, which considered it.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are also said to be interested in the versatile defender.
Sane also has a deal running until the summer of 2021, and City runs the risk of losing it for free if he doesn’t accept a new deal this summer.
The winger only made an appearance for City this season in the community shield in August, while Alaba played regularly for Bayern, scoring a goal in 28 appearances in all competitions.
