WWE filed some new brands.
The company registered the trademark “Next In Line,” the name of WWE’s new NIL program for recruiting college athletes, on December 1.
The description, according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, is as follows:
Organize and lead a program to improve the use of names, images and likenesses of student-athletes (NIL); Organize and lead collaborative partnerships with student-athletes for branding, training, development, education, communication, promotion and community relations services; Entertainment services, namely, arranging and conducting a variety of live broadcast and recorded sports entertainment events for distribution; organization and organization of exhibitions and events for sporting and entertainment purposes; Entertainment services, namely, providing information and news on sports, entertainment and general interest broadcast live and through broadcast media, including television and radio, and via the Internet or an online business service; Providing information in the fields of sport, entertainment and general interest via an online community portal; Provision of a website in the field of sports, entertainment and general interest
On the same day, WWE also filed trademarks for “Jinny”, “Xyon Quinn” and “Skull King”. Quinn is the renowned Daniel Vidot, and he was featured on the NXT 2.0 brand. Jinny has been a prominent member of the NXT UK Women’s Division. Finally, “Skull King” is the name of Triple H’s alter ego.
Trademark registration is intended to cover categories of entertainment services, namely, exhibitions and wrestling performances by a professional wrestler and artist rendered live and through broadcast media including television and broadcast. radio, and via the Internet or an online commercial service; provision of news and information on the fight via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sport and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, arranging sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organization of social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for members of a wrestling fan club; providing on-line newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.
