A woman on a flight from Syracuse, NY to Atlanta, GA, reportedly did not stop nursing her cat on a Delta flight, although the flight crew repeatedly asked her to stop
Buckle up, it’s a mad rush. During one of the busiest travel weeks of the year – AKA Thanksgiving week – social media exploded when reports of a woman breastfeeding her hairless cat on a flight became known viral. An image of a message sent using the Aircraft Communication Addressing and Notification System (ACARS) circulated on Reddit. “REQ REDCOAT MEET AC. Pax in 13A is breastfeeding a cat and will not return the cat to its cage when FA [Flight Attendant] asked, ”the message read.

In a now-deleted TikTok, one of the flight attendants explained the incident. “This woman had one of those hairless cats wrapped in a blanket to make it look like a baby. According to TikTok, the incident actually happened at the beginning of the month on November 2, but it was only later that social media got wind of the bizarre incident and shared it with the world. .
“Her shirt was up and she was trying to get the cat to breast and she didn’t want to put the cat back in the carrier. And the cat was screaming for his life, ”explained the flight attendant. “What does she do at home if she does it in public?” ” she asked. “And then security encountered the theft just to tell them they couldn’t do it anymore, because it was weird and disgusting.” “
It gets more and more weird and rude
In the deleted TikTok, the flight attendant said the passenger got creative by using natural lubricant for her nipples. “You know those little sachets of butter you get when they don’t have olive oil… she put in the butter (gesturing to her nipple) yeah. We need a minute. Or an hour. It’s just a lot to take.

They are original –
According to Snopes, the incident happened on November 1, but it only went viral when Ryan Spellman, disaster relief manager at Operation Airdrop, posted the puzzling ACARS messages.
The pilot asked Redcoats, or Delta’s “elite airport customer service experts”, to meet the woman who was nursing the cat when she arrived. The first line of the ACARS message reads: “Req Redcoat Meet AC,” which is a request for Delta “Redcoats” customer service for additional assistance, which aircraft personnel clearly needed. That and a glass of alcohol once they land.
In case anyone is wondering, no you shouldn’t feed your cat human breast milk
It should go without saying, but please do not breast feed cats. According to FAQCats, “The nutrients in human breast milk and cat breast milk are different to meet the needs of different mammals.” If you find yourself in a situation where you have to feed a kitten and there is no mother cat, then go for a cat breastmilk substitute.
