SEMINOLE COUNTY, Florida – Seminole County is offering free at-home COVID-19 tests and vaccines this week.
The Seminole County Emergency Management Office and Florida Department of Health in Seminole will offer a drive-thru COVID-19 vaccine and home test kit delivery event on Saturday at Winter Springs High School, 130 Tuskawilla Road, Saturday.

Vaccines will be available in the cafeteria from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments are preferred and can be made on PrepareSeminole.org.
BinaxNOW home rapid test kits will be distributed in the football stadium parking lot from 9 a.m. to noon, or while supplies last.

County officials said the rapid at-home kits would ease lab delays and traffic at testing sites with the expected influx of people requiring proof of a negative COVID-19 test to travel throughout the week. holiday season.
Each household participating in the distribution event will receive a family pack of six Abbott BinaxNOW rapid home test kits with virtual attendant instructions, valued at $ 150.

First, second and third dose vaccines are distributed to eligible people, with Pfizer (5 years and older) and Moderna (18 years and older) available. Appointments are recommended and can be made on PrepareSeminole.org.
