Thursday, December 2 recap – Devon upset over Dominic’s return home – Jill pushes Adam – .

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoiler recap for Thursday, December 2 reveals Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will be upset over Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s return while Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) pushes Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to come up with a plan B. Let’s discuss all the drama that is brewing in Thursday’s Y&R episode.

At Chancellor Mansion, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will insist he can make peace with Jill selling ChancComm – but not to Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). When Jill makes it clear that she will do what is best for the company, Billy will feel like she is siding with the Newmans rather than him.

Jill will want to know why Billy was willing to risk everything to rekindle her feud with Victor and Adam, but Billy will correct her about it. He will argue that it was originally a question of protecting his children from the “Lockeness monster” – especially since he had already lost a child and was not going to let it reproduce.

Jill will point out that there has never been any hint that Ashland is a threat to children and will not think Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will bring danger around them. Since Jill still won’t have a real answer as to why Billy was so determined to end the marriage, she’ll ask if it’s because Billy still has feelings for Victoria.

Billy will argue that he is strictly co-parenting with Victoria, so Jill will suggest that perhaps it was to satisfy the player’s rush. After Billy says he was trying to protect ChancComm from Victor’s threat, Jill will guess that she gave Billy too much power before he was ready.

Billy will recognize that Jill wants to give him a sweet place to land and will have no interest in the COO position at Chancellor Industries. After Jill retaliates about Billy being “so damn impulsive”, he’ll ask if that’s what she meant throughout this conversation. Billy will sarcastically thank Jill for that before he takes off.

At Crimson Lights, Billy runs into Adam, who asks him how he’s enjoying his early retirement. Regardless of what happens with the multiple offers on the table, Adam will be happy that no one wants Billy attached to ChancComm. He will feel that Billy paid the price for the publication of this talk and will derive sweet satisfaction from it.

After Adam reminds Billy that he took care of all of this, he will leave and leave Billy deep in thought at a table. Billy would come back to Adam’s warning early on about how everything would explode in his face.

Back at Chancellor Mansion, Adam will introduce himself to discuss the future of ChancComm. He’ll think Jill is a smart woman who won’t let personal issues get in the way of what’s best for business. Jill will feel like Adam just wants to save the mess he made and get back into daddy’s good favor. She will know that Adam’s plan was to destroy Billy, reduce the value of ChancComm, and get him back cheaply.

“It won’t happen, buddy!” Jill will warn Adam. She’ll get him to think about a Plan B, so Adam will thank Jill for the advice before going out. Jill will then snicker at the portrait of Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and ask if she can believe this guy.

At the Devon penthouse, he will receive a visit from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Lily will admit that she would need some advice and explain Jill’s job offer and how hard it all was for Billy. Lily will worry about where Billy’s anger is headed and will want to help him.

After Lily explains that she never felt her relationship was in danger despite all of the drama, Devon will see how in love she is. He’ll think Lily just needs to make sure Billy knows about it.

Afterwards, Lily will find Billy sitting alone at the cafe and ask him about it. Billy will admit he’s thought about something, but he won’t be ready to share details just yet. He will make it clear that he rejected Jill’s job offer and come up with a solution that doesn’t involve a document.

Billy will assure Lily that he always stands up after being knocked down. He’ll think Lily can count on it – and so can Adam. On the patio, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will take a coffee break with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). She will be irritated by Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) leaving the baby, but Tessa will reassure.

When Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) arrives, he’ll join the ladies before admitting that he finally got the chance to listen to Tessa’s songs. Noah will tell Tessa that he loved them and that he will always give her an honest return. He’ll want to listen back and let the music sit with him for a while before coming up with album cover ideas.

After Tessa comes out to answer her manager’s call, Mariah will talk about being in a great place with Tessa after a few chaotic months. Noah will insist that he’s really happy for them, which isn’t always easy when he remembers why they got together in the first place. He will add that this can sometimes be more difficult than it seems.

“Wow, someone really did a number on you,” Mariah will reply. She won’t push too hard as Noah won’t want to talk about London and will be rather happy that her brother is back in Genoa City.

After Mariah sends Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) ‘s basketball peewee program to Noah, Tessa will return to the table. She’ll look at art samples on Noah’s phone and decide they have the same vision, then she’ll enthusiastically state that they should get down to business. Mariah will look a little uncomfortable watching Noah and Tessa’s interaction.

At Society, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) will celebrate the merger of their new law firm. They will have champagne while they discuss their search for the perfect office space, which will lead to some slight feuds for the sisters.

However, Imani and Amanda will end up compromising on a converted Victorian building that they both love. After Amanda says they should post bail, they’ll toast Sinclair and Benedict’s lawyers. Imani will tease Amanda about how maybe her name should come first as they continue to bond.

Once Amanda gets home, she will inform Devon about their office hunt success while Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor is with the nanny for a bath. Devon will proudly reveal that Dominic reached out and rocked his favorite rattle on his own. He’ll joke about college with Amanda before taking a call about Abby being found safe and sound.

After Devon hangs up, he will inform that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) are bringing Abby back with them. Devon will guess that Abby must be okay since they are going to pick up Dominic and take him home. He will seem overwhelmed by the realization that Dominic will no longer be living there.

As more Y&R news arrives, we will send out updates. Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will have to face the void once Dominic returns to Chancellor Mansion, so stay tuned. CDL is where you want to be for great spoilers, updates, and news from Young and the Restless, so stop by regularly.
