The Blues will be determined to get back on their way to victory after being forced to share points against Manchester United this weekend at Stamford Bridge.
Both Liverpool and Manchester City have gained two points over Chelsea as the title race begins to heat up in the Premier League.
All three teams are in action tonight, with Chelsea well aware they have to beat a newly promoted side from Watford, who are now led by former Blues boss Claudio Ranieri.
Now, hours before the lineup was announced to the public, Silva dropped a possible clue on his Instagram page, where he posted a graphic of the match with a countdown to kick-off.
The Brazilian defender, who has been in sublime form for Chelsea this season, did the same ahead of the clash with Man United this weekend – and it has indeed started.
Silva could be about to start, and that wouldn’t be surprising given his importance to the team, but one defender who doesn’t seem to want to play is Andreas Christensen.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday, Thomas Tuchel spoke about Christensen and his contractual situation and revealed that was the reason the Chelsea defender had not played recently.
The Danish international sees his contract with the Blues expire at the end of the season and it looks like the two sides are no closer to reaching an agreement.
“I don’t have good news. I understood a few weeks ago that Andreas wanted the same things as me and the club. That’s why, for me, it was a no-problem situation because everyone wanted the same thing as I understood it, ”Tuchel told Christensen.

“We have been waiting for confirmation for a long time now. It’s up to Andreas to act like he acts on the pitch off the pitch and to preach.
“He tells us that he loves Chelsea, that he wants to stay and play an important role because he is part of a great club. I think he’s perfect, he’s not finished here yet, his career here isn’t over. finished.
“He can still develop and be a big, big player. But like I said, it’s on him. We want commitment. Hope we get it. “
So it looks like Silva could start for Chelsea tonight – with Trevoh Chalobah and Antonio Rudiger expected to be picked as well.
