Marvel et Sony confirment Spider-Man: No Way Home’s Runtime

Despite all the mystery that surrounds Spider-Man: No Path HomeOne thing’s for sure: Sony and Marvel Studios are pulling out all the stops for Peter Parker’s upcoming big-screen release. With Benedict Cumberbatch making a guest appearance as Doctor Strange and at least five major supervillains returning to the fold, the film is set to be Spidey’s biggest adventure to date. And now it officially has a corresponding runtime. Collider has confirmed that No way home lasts 150 minutes (or two and a half hours). No way home‘s execution.

No way home‘s runtime easily makes it the longest Spider Man franchise history film. Previously, the record was held by The Incredible Spider-Man 2, which has a runtime of 142 minutes. Some fans might find this disturbing, as this film and Spider-Man 3 have been notoriously criticized for being too long. But since Marvel has proven itself capable of handling long movies with many characters, it might not make the same mistakes.

Either way, the film is already guaranteed to be a box office hit. Box Office Pro brings the word that No way home is currently looking to make between $ 190 million and $ 250 million in its opening weekend. That would make it the first MCU version to debut with over $ 200 million since Avengers: Endgame arrived in 2019. And it looks like the studios are looking to guard against spoiler leaks until the very end. Press screenings today would only show 40 minutes of the film before this weekend’s press conference. However, critics will be invited to the Los Angeles premiere in order to publish their full reviews.

Spider-Man: No Path Home hits theaters on December 17th.
