Natural gas price forecast – Natural gas markets continue to plunge – .

Natural gas markets plunged during Wednesday’s trading session as we continue to see milder temperatures in the US acting like a wrecking ball for prices. Unfortunately, most retail traders, and quite frankly some professionals, have no idea that this is a US contract. It doesn’t matter what’s going on in Europe, and that’s the most important thing I can tell you right now. The reason is that the United States can only export about 12,000,000,000 cubic feet of natural gas, which is far from making a dent in what is happening in the European Union.

At the same time, a drop in temperatures in the US would of course be bullish for this market but frankly it looks like another mild winter. In other words, demand will not be as strong as you might think. In addition, we are negotiating the January contract, so this is the absolute “peak season” for natural gas demand. If we continue to see fairly strong temperatures, that will mark the end of the trend.
