Louise Redknapp has broken her silence on ex Jamie Redknapp’s new baby – furiously denying that she is in “secret despair”.

The mum-of-two has lashed out at a magazine’s claims she was upset with her ex’s new baby, Raphael, saying she was in “the most positive of head spaces.”

In her eloquent post, the 47-year-old wrote: “I try not to read or respond to these things but sometimes they are unavoidable. I would really like to clarify that “Louise” is not desperate or anything like that !!

“I have my two beautiful boys whom I adore more than anything in the world, the best family around me and I’m having the best time of my life with my career and with the most wonderful friends a girl could hope for.

“I want to make it clear that I am in the most positive open space and love my life. Here’s to all the women in control of their lives and living their best lives! “

Jamie married Frida Andersson, now Redknapp, in November and the couple had the gorgeous Raphael last week.

Jamie and Frida are already parents of children from a previous relationship – with the two-son soccer expert dad with his ex-wife Louise, while Frida shares four children, three boys and a girl, with her ex-husband Jonathan Lourie.

In her Instagram statement, Louise refers to her new tour with Steps.

The 47-year-old singer, who appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016, took to Twitter to reveal that she will hit the road and join the group at a concert in Staffordshire next September.

“I am very happy to announce the first of my live shows for 2022! Louise wrote.

“I will be joining the fabulous @OfficialSteps at Trentham Live @TrenthamLive on Friday September 2nd!

“Come listen to all the hits… and some new tracks,” she teased.

The former Eternal singer will join the ’90s pop group for next year’s concert, and her fans were delighted to see her back on stage.
