Jeff Hardy sent home by WWE after a bizarre incident at a house show – .

PWInsider reports that Jeff Hardy was not at the Corpus Christi, TX show on Sunday night. PWI adds that he was sent home and was replaced by Rey Mysterio.

Hardy last worked on the show in Edinburg, TX on Saturday night with Xavier Woods and Drew McIntyre as team partners against The Bloodline. According to reports, Hardy spent most of the match in the ring and he was worked on by Roman Reigns, but he got slower as the match went on.

When Hardy retired he left the ring and then walked into the crowd and never returned to celebrate with his team mates after the match was over. Security would have followed Hardy into the crowd as this was obviously not expected.

Hardy’s last TV appearance was on 11/26 at SmackDown where he teamed up with McIntyre against Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss.

As of this writing, there has been no official statement from WWE on Hardy’s situation.

Here are some tweets from fans who attended the show in Edinburgh on Saturday night.
