Matt Hardy offered a brief comment in response to questions from fans about the welfare of her brother, Jeff Hardy.
The day after news broke that Jeff had been sent home after a live WWE event this weekend, Matt shared his thoughts during a stream on Twitch.
He noted that he had spoken to Jeff, who was “fine” after the incident. Matt also stated that Jeff is at home at the moment, and he stressed that it is not for him to go into more detail on the situation.
“I talked to Jeff a bit today, and he’s doing fine, he’s doing fine,” Hardy said. “And I think he’ll be fine but again I mean it’s none of my business, and if he wants to go into specifics then he will do it himself.” You know, but like Jeff, it’s okay. He’s home and he’s fine.
“So it’s not my business, it’s not my story to tell or explain. And other than that, I wouldn’t be able to do it justice anyway because it’s not from my point of view. So I love my brother, and I just want my brother to be well and healthy.
PWInsider previously reported that Jeff took part in a live event in Edinburg, TX on December 4, but appeared slower and slower throughout the game before leaving the arena through the crowd. He was reportedly sent home and did not participate in the live event on December 5.
It’s unclear when Jeff Hardy will return, but WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
