TV ratings for ITV fell again on Thursday night, dropping 553,000 viewers the night before.

Analysis of the evening’s audience figures showed an average of 4.6 million listeners to watch the show, which represents a drastic drop for the 5.16 million viewers on Wednesday evening.

Thursday’s record figure recorded 5.46 million viewers, against 5.12 million on Wednesday, a drop of 340,000 viewers for peak figures.

The sinking numbers, which have seen a continuous decline throughout the week, come in the wake of Storm Arwen, which forced the ITV show to go out of air on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, much to the chagrin of viewers at home.
