After keeping fans waiting, the creators of the upcoming Telugu-language film Pushpa The Rise finally released the trailer on Monday night. The launch of the trailer has been delayed by more than three hours due to “unforeseen technical issues”. Whatever the reason, the trailer’s final cut is almost flawless as it’s a solid blend of everything the directors have promised us since production on the film began.

The trailer is raw, dense, and follows a unique treatment, which feels drastically different from the masala movies of ordinary great heroes. The film promises a visceral and visual experience of a memorable kind as opposed to the eardrums erupting in a high-decibel screaming match between two men hopped on steroids.

There’s so much going on in the trailer. The basic plot seems to be a turf war between the natives of the forests and the greedy men who possess sweeping powers that can bend the system to their will. There appears to be a huge market for a certain type of tree wood known as “red gold”. And Pushpa Raj of Allu Arjun is one of the forest dwellers and he is also a lumberjack. And it seems that no firepower and no political power is enough to bring him to his knees, for “Pushpa Raj, Thaggede Le (I will not give in). “

We also see Fahadh Faasil in an appearance in the trailer. The film marks its debut in the Telugu film industry. Perhaps director Sukumar reserved a larger part of Fahadh’s performance for the second part of Pushpa.

Pushpa marks Allu Arjun’s reunion with director Sukumar and composer Devi Sri Prasad. The trio have already delivered two hit movies: Arya and Arya 2. It should be noted that it was Arya who made Allu Arjun an overnight sensation.

The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna who will share screen space with Allu Arjun for the first time. She was last seen in 2020 outing Sarileru Neekevvaru, opposite Mahesh Babu.

The first part of the two-part crime drama is gearing up to hit screens on December 17, in an effort to cash in on the Christmas holidays. Production of the film is progressing at a steady pace. The creators recently shot a special dance number with Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
