Bellator 272 goes down tonight (Friday, December 3, 2021) inside the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, streaming exclusively on SHOWTIME (watch it here). Headlining the event, a bantamweight title fight between division hub Sergio Pettis and 135-pound RIZIN executive Kyoji Horiguchi. In the main co-event, Emmanuel Sanchez will face Jeremy Kennedy in Featherweight action.

Round 1: They arrive in the center of the cage and start the action early. The two men often sway but nothing is proper for either man. They latch onto the cage and Kennedy gets a brief withdrawal. Back to the feet. They latch onto the cage again. Kennedy slams Sanchez onto the canvas and controls the side. Sanchez is angling for a quote. Kennedy is now on half-guard. Sanchez stays busy from the lowest position. Sanchez gets back to his feet but Kennedy pulls him down. Sanchez manages to get back on his feet. They exchange knees in the clinch. Sanchez searches for an armband, but Kennedy isn’t worried at all. Sanchez always tries to throw it at the end of the round. 10-9 Kennedy
Tour 3 :
Josh Hill vs. Jared Scoggins
1st round: low kick for Scoggins, then high kick. Your melee against the cage. Knees to Hill’s body. They are separating. Not a ton of action after three minutes. Scoggins’ high kick attempt catches only air. Hill’s low shot. They trade in the center of the cage and both land. Scoggins’ high kick breathes again. Hill’s low shot. One-two from Scoggins barely cuts his foe. Hill with a nice right hand. They exchange kicks again. Scoggins kicks the body and Hill grabs it and manages to knock it down. Hill tries to separate but Scoggins holds on. 10-9 Hill
Round 2: They exchange kicks again. They exchange blows but nothing falls. And out of nowhere, Hill lands a huge right hand and cold knocks Scoggins out! WOW!
Final result: Def. Scoggins knocked out in the second round
Johnny Eblen vs. Collin Huckbody
Round 1: Eblen’s low kick to kick off. Kick to the body by Eblen. Two right hands from Eblen find a home. Eblen walks in and begins to unload on Huckbody with one vicious strike after another. Huckbody comes down and gets up. Eblen puts his foot on the accelerator pedal and continues the assault. The referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight after Huckbody turns his back on him. Quick victory on one side for Eblen.
End result: Eblen won. Huckbody by technical knockout in the first round
