The DownDetector.com website showed an increase in reported Xfinity outages shortly before 10 p.m. More than 24,000 people reported the outage, according to the website, but widespread complaints on social media indicated the outage was much more widespread, affecting customers in San Francisco and the Peninsula, the East Bay and the North Bay.

There are reports of internet outages all over Marin County and Sonoma.
