The Formula 1 title fight heads to Losail this weekend for the inaugural Qatar Grand Prix, as Lewis Hamilton continues to hunt down Max Verstappen atop the standings.
The seven-time world champion’s sensational run at Interlagos last time, where he dropped from 20th place at the start of the sprint race to win the Grand Prix on Sunday, was one of the greatest of his career and handed pressure. on Red Bull after building up a seemingly threatening lead.

The race in Qatar is not without controversy, having been heavily criticized by human rights group Amnesty International, but will host the first of three final races in the Middle East which will determine which driver wins the Drivers’ Championship.

With a cooler engine and faster straight-line speed on a track with very few low-speed corners, Hamilton and Mercedes head into the weekend as favorites.
