Vegan dies of Covid-19 after refusing vaccine against animal testing – .

A vegan man who rejected the Covid-19 vaccine over concerns about animal cruelty has died regretting his decision, his wife has said.
Glynn Steel “begged for the vaccine,” his wife Emma Steel said, before he went into intensive care. But by then it was too late for the vaccine to be effective on him, she said.

“The last thing Glynn (Steel) told me was ‘I’ve never felt so bad, I wish I had the vaccine’,” said Ms Steel, who is double vaccinated. The sun.

Just a week after being transferred to the intensive care unit (ICU), a critically ill Steel died of Covid-19 on November 16, according to Ms Steel’s GoFundMe page set up to organize funds for her funeral.

Steel had decided to skip the inoculation, claiming the vaccine was being tested on animals.

“He was a very sweet soul, he was a vegan and didn’t want the Covid vaccine because it had been tested on animals,” Ms. Steel said. The sun.

Steel had read that big pharmaceutical players such as Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson & Johsnon had tested their drugs on animals, which added to his hesitation about the vaccine.

But things got worse late last month after the 54-year-old fell with a cold and eventually tested positive for Covid-19.

Steel’s condition worsened within days due to his age and zero immunity to the vaccine. Ms Steel had to call an ambulance on November 2, but none were available. She ended up driving him to the hospital. At this point, Steel was unconscious.

On November 10, Steel fell into an induced coma after being put on resuscitation. He was barely making any progress while fighting the infection. On November 16, he died within minutes of shutting down the life support device, the report added.

“After falling ill very quickly, Glynn was placed in intensive care and then in a medically induced coma. In barely a week, he slipped away. Glynn was the sweetest soul, he loved to travel with his wife Emma and animals were his world, ”says Ms. Steel’s GoFundMe page.

She has this message for people after losing her husband to Covid: “I urge everyone I know to get vaccinated. “

The family hope to raise £ 4,000 for Steel’s funeral arrangements, of which they raised £ 1,680 on Tuesday.
