TORONTO – Police released new video footage of a cheeky shooting at a Vaughan shopping center last month that left two women injured.

The 35-second video shows several people standing and chatting in a parking lot near Langstaff Road and Valeria Boulevard in the wee hours of October 18, when gunshots erupted.

In the video, one of the suspects can be seen running for cover while firing multiple shots at several vehicles that appeared to be pulling away from the scene. Meanwhile, another individual is seen hiding behind a parked car and then firing several shots from a crouching position.

The circumstances that led to the shooting remain unclear, but an employee in the plaza previously told CP24 that there appeared to be some sort of party in the parking lot earlier that night.

Police said they have since arrested two people in connection with the incident and issued a warrant for a third.

But they say investigators believe there are “other suspects involved and are working to identify these people.”

“They are urged to seek legal advice and surrender,” police said in a press release.

Mubarik Gool, 27, of Toronto, and Brandon Graham, 23, of Toronto, are both charged with 10 offenses each, including aiding and abetting attempted murder and intentional unloading of a firearm.

Police say they are continuing to search for 23-year-old Torontonian Jameel Melville.

The two women who were injured in the shooting both went to Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
