Roy Keane makes bold statement at Crystal Palace about ex-player ahead of Spurs v Manchester United – .

Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane has suggested Crystal Palace would not want Aaron Wan-Bissaka to return if offered to return tomorrow.
The 23-year-old defender was sold to the Red Devils by Palace for an initial £ 45million in 2019, after rising through the Academy ranks in south London and making 46 first-team appearances ahead of his eventual departure.

Wan-Bissaka has made more than 100 appearances for United but has recently come under scrutiny for his performance, with United having already conceded 15 Premier League goals this season – almost as many as Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City combined ( 17).

This prompted Keane to say he believed the defender was out of his depth at United ahead of their game against Spurs on Saturday, which his former team comfortably won 3-0.

“What Manchester United have always had over the year are players of character, I don’t see it with this group,” said Keane, who won seven Premier League titles under Sir Alex Ferguson at United between 1993 and 2006.

“Wan-Bissaka – I don’t even think Palace would take it back. He’s not good enough for Manchester United. No feeling for the ball [or] decision making. “

Palace so far have looked comfortable at right-back, with Joel Ward having recently achieved his best campaign performance so far against Man City on Saturday.

Patrick Vieira also has 21-year-old Nathan Ferguson on the sidelines recovering from an Achilles tendon injury.
