The lineup starts with the $ 45,950 Ariya Venture + which features a single front-mounted electric motor rated at 214 horsepower, 221 pound-feet (300 Nm) and it uses a 91 kWh battery with a capacity usable 87 kWh. The Venture + is the only version of the Ariya that can achieve a maximum range of 300 miles (482 km) – that’s Nissan’s estimated range and has yet to be confirmed by the EPA.
The other two front-wheel drive versions with the same powertrain and battery, the $ 48,950 Evolve + and the $ 53,450 Premiere, get a lower range rating of 285 miles (458 km). If you want a twin-engine, all-wheel-drive setup, the only version that offers it is the Platinum + e-4ORCE variant which has 389 horsepower and exactly double the torque of the front-drive variants, 442 lb-ft (600 Nm). ), as well as a lower range rating of up to 265 miles (426 km).
Equipment side, even the Venture + base is not really lacking, with standard features such as adaptive cruise control, ProPilot Assist with Navi-link, a 12.3-inch screen for the driver, capacitive door handles, dual-zone air conditioning, electric parking brake and all the wireless connectivity, as well as the active and passive safety features you would expect from a modern car.
It features standard 19-inch wheels, full LED headlights, a full-width LED light bar in the rear, electrically-heated and heated rear-view mirrors and an illuminated Nissan logo. Power seats are an option, but the vehicle has a standard leather-wrapped steering wheel and mood lighting.
Upgrade to Evolve + and the Ariya gets a power panoramic sunroof, power tailgate, LED fog lights, wireless charging for your phone, a motorized glove box and a storage under the boot floor. Premiere adds the upgraded ProPilot 2.0, automatic parking, illuminated skid plates and unique 19-inch wheels with aerodynamic covers.
The high-end Platinum + 4ORCE AWD all-wheel drive adds, in addition to the second engine, active sound, nappa leather inside, electric steering adjustment, a Bose Premium audio system with 10 speakers and it’s the only version where you can possibly select even more special 20 inch wheels.
All model variations feature unique quality emblems on the exterior to make them easy to distinguish. They are all recharged to a maximum of 130 kW via a DC rapid charger, or up to 7.2 kW with its on-board charger.
