MEGHAN Markle stepped out in New York City this week in a Carolina Herrera red dress for a Veterans Day Gala in New York City.
She might have looked stunning in the red dress, but on closer inspection it looks like she didn’t quite fit like a glove.

With excess fabric around her ribs, it also seemed like she was too tight in the back.

While she is perhaps one of the most influential celebrities in fashion, with a glamorous team at her disposal, sometimes even Meghan misses the Mark-le.

And this isn’t the first time Megs has had a little fashion faux pas.

Here, stylist Abby McHale reflects on all the times Meghan has had a fashion incident.

MARKING ON

In 2018, while on a royal tour of New Zealand, Meghan stepped out in a red self-portrait dress.

While the dress might have looked lovely, she forgot one key detail – the label.

Sticking out at the bottom of the dress, it was visible to all, if she wanted to return to the store after trying to hide it a little better.

RECOUSU

March 2018 Meghan was out in Birmingham and eagle-eyed fans noticed that the stitch was still sewn into the back of her coat.

Custom-made coats often have a back seam at the bottom to keep them intact during transport and in store.

However, once purchased, you need to remove the seams – something Meghan and her team sadly forgot to do.

SEE THROUGH THE SKIRT

In October 2018, on the last day of the New Zealand tour, the 40-year-old wore a pleated skirt from Givenchy, which was much more revealing than she had expected.

Fortunately, she had a pair of fairly wide panties underneath, which saved her from any further embarrassment.

These days pure has become a trend so maybe she was just ahead of the curve.

BRA FAILURE

Getting the right bra size can often be difficult and on a trip to Dublin in July 2018, Meghan was having a bad bra day.

Wearing a chic gray Roland Mouret dress with a bateau neckline, Meg’s strapless bra is slightly tight, making it visible through the dress.

Hopefully Meghan has learned of the incident and has opted for a seamless strapless bra the next time around.

STEAM AWAY

There have been a few occasions where it seems Meghan forgot to put an iron on her clothes before going out.

Even her wedding dress had folds.

However, a lot of this is down to its choice of fabrics, but when you want to do your best, it’s best to go for wrinkle-free fabrics.

Here, Meghan is in January 2019 in a £ 2,600 coat from Oscar De La Renta in a cute crumpled coat – for all that money, you’d think she’d want to pull out the iron.

IN THE MUD

Stiletto heels and grass don’t go together because after sinking into the mud you visibly end up with a dirty heel.

Meghan, however, forgot to clean hers in April 2018, leaving her beloved Manolo Blahnik heels covered in mud as she attended an Invictus Games reception in London.

All it would have taken was a quick wipe down so she didn’t look like she had come straight from the muddy fields of Sandringham Estate.
