Longtime disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein said on Tuesday he remembers meeting one of the women who accused Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking.
Witnessing at Maxwell’s trial in New York, Larry Visoski said Epstein personally introduced him, on one of the robberies, to the woman prosecutors identify under Jane’s pseudonym and remembers her “Piercing blue eyes.”
But during cross-examination, he said he was unaware that she was a minor and that he was unaware of any minors flying on Epstein’s private planes “without a parent.”
“She looked like a woman,” Visoski, who told the court he worked for Epstein from 1991 to 2019, said of Jane.
Visoski returned to the stand on the second day of Maxwell’s trial. The 59-year-old British socialite has been accused by prosecutors of identifying and targeting vulnerable young women and “grooming” them for sex with Epstein and other powerful men.
Maxwell, who is on trial for allegedly helping Epstein recruit and abuse Jane and three other underage girls, mostly in the 1990s, denied all charges and pleaded not guilty to all six counts against her.
But Epstein’s thefts became the subject of media scrutiny after it was discovered that former President Bill Clinton, Britain’s Prince Andrew, lawyer Alan Dershowitz and a host of other celebrities had taken the trips. in his planes.
Virginia Roberts Guiffre, an alleged victim of Epstein who is not part of this case, has accused in a civil lawsuit that Maxwell tricked her into Andrew when she was 17. The British royal family has denied the allegations.
Visoski said he also met Guiffre on one of the “mid to late 1990s” flights and had no idea how old he was either. He also said he had never witnessed sex on the planes he flew to Epstein’s many luxurious homes.
“I didn’t know her age, she didn’t look young,” he said. “She was a woman in my category.
When asked about the well-known names that flew on Epstein’s planes, Visoski mentioned Prince Andrew and also listed former Ohio astronaut and senator John Glenn, actors Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker, violinist Itzhak. Perlman. He said Donald Trump was a repeat aviator before he became president.
“There have been more than once, I believe,” Visoski said. “I certainly remember President Trump, but no one else associated with him. “
Trump, who once called Epstein a “great guy,” told reporters in 2019 that they fell out 15 years earlier and “wasn’t a fan of him.”
Visoski said he met Maxwell frequently and said she oversaw Epstein’s households.
Asked about the relationship between Maxwell and Epstein, he said: “I thought it was more personal than professional. “
Visoski was questioned by Assistant US Attorney Maureen Comey, who is the daughter of former FBI Director James Comey. James Comey was fired from his post by President Trump in 2017.
