London Covid cases and deaths for each borough in the south-east – .



The latest case rates have been published for every local authority area in England and in most of them Covid infections are down.

Nationally, 310 of 377 local areas in England (82%) have seen a drop in cases, and 66 (18%) have seen an increase.

One is unchanged.

These numbers are correct for the seven days leading up to October 30 – the most recent days being excluded for clarity.

They are compared to the previous week – the seven days until October 23.

The figures are based on the number of people who tested positive for Covid-19 in a lab-reported or rapid lateral flow test, by sample date.

The rate is expressed as the number of new cases per 100,000 people.

Bexley

The Covid rate in Bexley is 301.6 (752 cases), after dropping by 339.7 (847 cases).

The government’s coronavirus dashboard shows 587 people had died in the region as of November 3 (Wednesday) – unchanged from Tuesday.

This means that there were two deaths last week, which is the same as the week before.

Bromley

In Bromley, the rate fell from 300.8 (1,001 cases) to 291.8 (971 cases).

The government’s coronavirus dashboard shows 653 people had died in the region as of November 3 (Wednesday) – up from 652 on Tuesday.

This means that there was a death last week, which is the same as the week before.

Greenwich

Greenwich’s rate fell to 222.8 (644 cases) from 260.2 (752 cases).

The government’s coronavirus dashboard shows 462 people had died in the region as of November 3 (Wednesday) – unchanged from Tuesday.

That means there have been three deaths in the past week, which is an increase from one the week before.

Lewisham

In Lewisham, the case rate is 191.0 (583 cases), after dropping from a rate of 223.1 (681 cases).

The government’s coronavirus dashboard shows 557 people had died in the region as of November 3 (Wednesday) – unchanged from Tuesday.

That means there were three deaths last week, which is an increase from two the week before.

Southwark

The coronavirus rate in Southwark is 175.3 (561 cases), up from 183.1 (586 cases) the week before.

The government’s coronavirus dashboard shows 373 people had died in the region as of November 3 (Wednesday) – unchanged from Tuesday.

This means that there was a death last week, which is the same as the week before.

Dartford

Nearby in Dartford, the rate is 501.5 (572 cases), after dropping to 626.9 (715 cases).

79 people had died in the region as of November 3 (Wednesday) – which remained unchanged from Tuesday.

This means there were two deaths last week.
