WWE continued to restructure its operations on Thursday as a number of wrestlers were released from the company.
The Post confirmed the outfit is leaving Ember Moon, Keith Lee, Karrion Kross, Mia Yim, Gran Metalik, Nia Jax, Lince Dorado, Jeet Rama, Katrina Cortez, Trey Baxter, Zayda Ramier, Jessi Kamea, B-Fab, Oney Lorcan , Franky Monet, Eva Marie and Scarlett Bordeaux.
“We wish them the best in their future endeavors,” WWE said in a statement to The Post.
Sean Ross Sapp de Fightful was the first with the news.
A number of these wrestlers are prominent artists. Ember Moon, real name Adrienne Palmer, was a former Women’s Champion and Tag Team Champion for NXT, the WWE development brand. She also spent time on the main roster. Keith Lee and Karrion Kross were also NXT Champions.
A source with knowledge of WWE operations told The Post that one of the reasons Nia Jax, a former WWE Raw Women’s Champion, was released is that she is not vaccinated.
WWE has suffered a number of budget cuts affecting both wrestling talent and behind-the-scenes employees. The big names have not been spared. Bray Wyatt was released from the company in July, and Braun Strowman and Aleister Black were released in June.
