Georgia has suspended starting linebacker Adam Anderson indefinitely on charges of raping a woman, sources told ESPN on Thursday.
Anderson, an elder from Rome, Georgia, has not been arrested and has denied the allegation through his lawyer.

According to an incident report from the Athens-Clarke County Police Department, a 21-year-old woman told police she visited a house in Athens, Georgia, between 12 p.m. and 7 a.m. morning Friday. After drinking, the woman said, she woke up to Anderson having sex with her. She told police the sex was not consensual, according to the report.
