TThe Duchess of Cambridge sported a bold new hairstyle as she attended the Royal Variety Performance with her husband on Thursday night.
Kate Middleton wore her hair in curls pulled to one side for the star-studded event at the Royal Albert Hall.
Before the show, 10-year-old Poppy Clee presented him with a bouquet of flowers and the program for the show was given to Prince William by Rowan Clarke, also 10, who the Duke asked what music he liked.
The couple mingled with Ed Sheeran, Cirque du Soleil, James Blunt and Sir Rod Steward who will perform at the event.
Kate looked exquisite in a sparkling floor-length green gown with matching stilettos and gold earrings from designer Missoma London.
She had previously appeared in the Jenny Packham dress during an official visit to Pakistan in 2019.
Decorated with crystals on the bodice, waist and cuffs, Kate sparkled under the famous theater chandelier on Thursday.
The comedian told the Duchess: “You are absolutely gorgeous. “
Addressing the Duke, he added, “Sir, I’m sure you don’t know who I am, but I’m not flirting with your wife. “
William and Kate were greeted by Vice-Lord Lieutenant-Colonel Jane Davis as they attended the recording of the Royal Variety performance.
They have been introduced to the chairman of the Royal Variety charity, Giles Cooper, and life president Laurie Mansfield, who will welcome the Duke and Duchess into the royal box.
“It’s fabulous that he’s back, providing entertainment for a full audience of 5,000 people. It’s just remarkable in these times for charity, it’s a godsend, ”said Mansfield.
Prince William wore a classic tuxedo during the annual charity event.
It comes as her father, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall have completed their third day of their Middle East tour.
The next day, they were greeted by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and First Lady Entissar Amer of Egypt.
