Carrie Underwood’s ‘side’ reaction to Luke Bryan’s ‘immune’ joke goes viral – .

Social media users couldn’t help but notice that Carrie Underwood appeared to be giving a major ‘sidelong’ after host Luke Bryan joked about being ‘immune’ while he was attending the 2021 CMA Awards on Wednesday night.

During Bryan’s opening monologue, he pointed out that the awards were not being given by video conference because everyone was “immune”. The comment appeared to be a blow to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers who just tested positive for COVID-19. Rodgers admitted he was not vaccinated after initially telling reporters he was “immune”.

“We follow all health protocols to keep everyone safe and it’s so great to be here with all of my fellow artists, tested and together,” Bryan said. “Or immune? Who is it ? I’m just playing! ”

Underwood’s husband, former professional hockey star Mike Fisher, backed Rodgers’ decision not to get the shot in a lengthy social media post.

“I believe in the freedom to choose what we put in our body and in the freedom of conscience. I agree with him that science clearly shows the spread of the vaccinated virus at about the same rate as the unvaccinated, ”Fisher wrote on Instagram.

“Super sidelong eye @carrieunderwood,” said a spectator.

“Carrie Underwood looked pretty bored when they showed her to the audience,” wrote a person.

Another nobody explained, “No, he was making a shy joke about Aaron Rodger’s problem… that’s why the camera turned on Carrie Underwood because her husband publicly supported Rodgers.” “

CMA AWARDS 2021: TO KNOW EVERYTHING

Wrote another, “Carrie’s husband backs Aaron Rogers LOL” after someone said it was an “extremely awkward opening”.

Underwood never publicly commented on her husband’s post.

In August, the star was criticized for liking a tweet opposing the mask warrants for children.

Underwood, a mother of two young boys herself, appears to have liked a video on Twitter shared by media personality Matt Walsh containing a video of a speech that he denounced such warrants.

Meanwhile, CMAs shared their protocol for the show in October.
