Ben Roethlisberger congratulates rookie OT Dan Moore Jr. on his efforts – .

If you’re a fourth-round rookie offensive tackle, you don’t necessarily expect to be a starting left tackle right off the bat. However, it was a role that Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Dan Moore Jr. accepted and did his best.

Moore had a very difficult draw on Sunday with Cleveland Browns rusher Myles Garrett. Garrett is one of the best assisters in the league and Pittsburgh didn’t give Moore as much help as you might have assumed, but he held on. Nonetheless, despite this, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was very pleased with Moore’s performance.

“I think Dan did a great job,” Roethlisberger said. “It’s hard to ask a rookie to go against this guy, and what he did today was pretty special. I can’t say enough about the line, the play and the pro pass, they are the heart of this group.

The Steelers are set to be forced to make a decision on tackling position going forward with the return of Zach Banner. Moore was by no means perfect, but was he worse than starting right tackle Chuks Okorafor? Let us know in the comments which guy you think Banner will replace or if both guys keep their jobs.
