Bryan Danielson left WWE earlier this year and made his All Elite Wrestling debut at All Out in September. While several wrestlers have left WWE unhappy in recent years, Bryan Danielson has not, who has stated several times since signing with AEW how much he has enjoyed his time in WWE.
According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, WWE sources praised the way Bryan Danielson handled his last match with Roman Reigns on SmackDown. A source told Fightful:
“Bryan handled things so well that a lot of people didn’t think he was leaving or taking time off. We couldn’t have asked for more. “
Bryan Danielson’s WWE contract expired shortly after his Universal Title match against Roman Reigns on SmackDown.
Will Bryan Danielson return to WWE?
Even though Bryan Danielson now finds himself under contract with All Elite Wrestling, that hasn’t stopped the WWE Universe from hoping that he will return to the business somewhere down the line.
From WWE sources SRS spoke to, it doesn’t seem out of reach. Stating that since Danielson left on “very good terms” they think the door is wide open for him to come back to WWE in the future if that’s what he wants to do.
Right now, however, it looks like Bryan Danielson is having a great time in All Elite Wrestling as he will be making the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament Final at Full Gear on November 13th.
