She was stopped in April 2020 for aggravated assault with a lethal weapon. Mayweather was allegedly stabbed Lapattra Lashai Jacobs, one of NBA YoungBoy’s baby mamas, at the rapper’s house in Houston. The jasmine brand reports that the Yaya faces up to 20 years of felony charges. This is a major improvement over previous reports on a possible 99 years in prison but still sounds like a lifetime for the 21-year-old.

Fortunately, Jacobs survived the stab wounds, but her right arm and hand were seriously injured. A month after the incident, she appeared on Instagram live to discuss her recovery.

The clip shows how severely damaged the tendons in Jacobs’ hand are. At the time, she was unable to lift her wrist, make a fist, or do much more than wiggle her fingers lightly. “I’m not going to show you all of my scars because it’s nasty,” she said. However, she removed the cast on her hand to show the swelling and stillness. Jacobs described how his injuries made it difficult to perform normal activities such as bathing or dressing.

“This hand doesn’t even work, like I can’t even pick up, wish I could show you how I pick up something, I can’t even pick up anything, my therapy did one thing to me, it feels [me] look if handicap, that’s why I don’t like to put it on. It helps me pick up stuff.

In the year and a half since the incident, Jacobs is still suffering from his injuries. In September, she murdered in a sexy red dress on her Instagram. Although she no longer wears a plaster cast, she was wearing a splint in her hand.

On YouTube, Jacobs posted an emotional update a few weeks ago. She had arm surgery a year ago and her doctors said she would need another operation for the nerves in her hand.

“I don’t wish this on my worst enemy if I had one,” she said of the nerve damage and ongoing treatments. Jacobs asked for continued prayers and support. “I can’t enjoy my life the way I want to. I used to be shot and have so much fun. I used to work. And I don’t want anyone to feel sorry for me, that’s the way it is.

We wish Lapattra Lashai Jacobs a good recovery and recovery from the upcoming procedure. Yaya Mayweather’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 2022.
