Woman shaves close up as meteor crashes on roof and lands on her pillow – .

A woman named Ruth Hamilton was nearly killed when a meteorite fell through her roof and landed on the pillow next to her as she slept on the night of October 4. Hamilton, from Golden, British Columbia, Canada, woke up to the sound of a collision. She told Victoria News that she had just stood up and turned on the light, unable to understand what had happened.
She added that she immediately dialed 911 and that a police officer was dispatched to the scene. Upon examination, it was discovered that the rock was not there as a result of a construction process in Kicking Horse Canyon. The only alternative possibility was that a meteorite had passed through its roof.

She explained that Kicking Horse Canyon saw a bright light in the sky that burst and boomed. A meteor was also seen earlier that night over Lake Louise, about 52 miles to the east, by onlookers.

Hamilton is unharmed and intends to keep the rock

According to Victoria News, Hamilton was shaking and terrified when this happened. She said she was relieved when it was concluded that the rock had fallen from the sky. She is unharmed and intends to keep the rock for the foreseeable future, saying her grandchildren will find it fascinating.

Hamilton said his insurance company would conduct a tour of his property to determine if roof holes caused by space debris are covered. Apparently, this is the first time the company has received a complaint of this magnitude. She also said that she was completely blown away that it is a “star” that came out of the sky.

Hamilton says the cosmic near-death experience gave him a new perspective on life

Hamilton said the cosmic near-death experience gave him a new perspective on life. She said life was “precious” and could be taken at any time, even when people believe they are safe in their beds. She expressed her gratitude saying she would never take life for granted again, according to Victoria News.
