Walker shared the news and beautiful images from her wedding on Instagram, showing her both walking down the aisle with Diesel and walking away from the altar with Thornton-Allan after their formal wedding.
Meadow, who is a model, spoke to Vogue about her marriage to Thornton-Allan and explained how they were separated during quarantine during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortunately, they were quickly reunited.
“It was the longest we’ve spent apart since we were together, and I missed him so much,” she recalls. “He flew to London to surprise me and we quarantined ourselves together. After spending more time with his family in England, he was eager to see the ring we had thought to design and offered with a ring I had received on set that day. It was so sentimental and sweet. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
They chose to get married in the Dominican Republic alongside “an intimate group of family and friends.” The pandemic definitely changed their plans and caused a lot of people to miss the ceremony, but they made the most of it.
Paul Walker died at the age of 40 from a car accident which also claimed the life of his friend Roger Rodas. His last film appearance was in Furious 7 as Brian O’Conner, a character he had played since 2001 in The Fast and the Furious.
