Though horrified that her image was stolen, Hunt admired the Seamless Photoshopping at Work, saying her image was “like art.”

Catfishing normally refers to the theft of an entire image, often in an attempt to attract online dating by pretending to be someone that a person might find more physically attractive.

In this case, however, it was only Jessica’s body that was used. The model originally posed in the sparkling green dress five weeks ago, pacing her kitchen in a video on Instagram.

Some were perhaps a little cynical though, with one user suggesting that the image, which was reposted by the company that designed her dress, might take advantage of their moment in the limelight.

“Gorgeous dress, perfect PR,” the user wrote.
