Teenage twins fall to death from 25th floor in Ghaziabad: the Tribune India

New Delhi, October 17

Twin brothers, both 14, have died after accidentally falling from their 25th-floor balconies near here in Ghaziabad, an official said on Sunday.

The official told IANS that the incident happened around 1 a.m. Besides the two children, their mother was also present in the house located at Prateek Grand Society, Siddharth Vihar in Ghaziabad.

“We received the information about the incident around 1:05 am, after which a team of cops was dispatched to the scene,” the official said.

The deceased identified as – Satya Narayan and Surya Narayan – were studying in the 9th standard and were from Chennai.

The police official informed that their mother went to their room around midnight and asked them to sleep early, however, both brothers insisted on seeing the moon first. “After that she went to her room and some time later there was a thud that woke her up and she rushed into her children’s room,” said the manager where she saw that her two children had fallen from the balcony.

Police opened an investigation and sent the bodies of the deceased brothers for autopsy.

Asked about any suicidal angle, in this case, the official told IANS it was too early to comment on this and that they were awaiting the postmortem report.
