Stephen Colbert gives Steve Bannon a horrific description you’ll never forget – .

Stephen Colbert’s audience applauded the news that a House committee had voted to hold Steve Bannon in contempt of Congress.
Bannon, a former Donald Trump aide and the recipient of a last-minute pardon from his former boss, refused to comply with a subpoena from the select committee investigating the Jan.6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

“It is possible that my prayers are about to be answered,” Colbert said, describing how that means Bannon could face charges of criminal contempt.

“Hell yeah! Said Colbert. “Criminal contempt makes sense to me because I feel a lot of contempt for this criminal. ”

And that was about the nicest thing he had to say about Bannon.

“This is the first time we’ve seen liability for one of the big fish,” Colbert said, then painted a very vivid picture of Trump’s sidekick: “Or in Bannon’s case, one of those strange gelatinous fish that live in eternal darkness with sharp teeth and a lantern glob here, shining from their faces. ”

However, when Colbert learned the details of the punishment Bannon could face, he was not really impressed.
