The list was compiled by Condé Nast Traveler and was based on readers who rated their best resorts in Canada.
Places other than British Columbia on the list included Jasper, Lake Louise, Mont-Tremblant and Banff.
All locations were rated out of 100.
7. Brentwood Bay Resort & Spa
Brentwood Bay is a small village in Saanich, just north of Victoria.
It’s also home to the Brentwood Bay Resort & Spa, which scored 91.6 points according to Condé Nast readers.

5. Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside
Condé Nast readers awarded Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside, another beautiful resort near Whistler Blackcomb, 95 points.
This resort has won the Best Ski Hotel in Canada award eight times at the World Ski Awards.

4. Nita Lake Lodge
The fourth best resort in Canada is Whistler once again at the Nita Lake Lodge, which scored 96.66.
The Nita Lake Lodge is the only lakeside hotel in Whistler, where you can enjoy magnificent panoramic views of British Columbia’s natural wonders. Residents of British Columbia can also take advantage of reduced rates.

2. Auberge Wickaninnish
Wickaninnish isn’t just fun to say, it’s also the second highest rated resort in the whole country, scoring 99.06.
The Wickaninnish Inn is located in Tofino, British Columbia, nestled between an ancient rainforest and the ocean.

1. Fairmont Château Whistler
The Fairmont Chateau in Whistler, BC was at the top of the list of resorts in Canada, with a rating of 99.64.
Located at the foot of Blackcomb Mountain, the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is a ski-in-ski-out paradise. Even if you are not a winter sports fan, the surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful, truly like living in a painting.
