One dead, one injured in Alec Baldwin’s film, the loaded gun was not properly fired – .

Our sources tell us that the incident happened Thursday in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where Alec is filming a new western he is playing in called “Rust” at Bonanza Creek Ranch, a movie ranch.

We are told that Alec was filming the scene when someone pulled the trigger on the propeller gun. It is not known if the person who loaded the gun mistakenly placed bullets inside, or if something got lodged in the barrel that hit the director as well as the cinematographer.

Our sources say the director was shot in the collarbone, but PD was not so lucky… she was airlifted and rushed to hospital. As for Alec, we are told he was not injured.

Earlier Thursday, he posted a photo of himself as a character on set. After the accident, we are told that production was halted for the day.

The local sheriff’s deputies are already on the scene and have launched an investigation.
