Ole coach Miss Lane Kiffin was greeted with a chorus of boos as he entered Neyland Stadium before his Rebels attacked Tennessee in a clash with the SEC on Saturday night.

By the end of the night, the boos turned into something more chaotic.

With 54 seconds left, Tennessee fans reacted to a bad spot in football by dumping trash on the field. Kiffin was bombarded with a golf ball as water bottles and even mustard littered the sidelines.

Ole Miss players were forced to step onto the pitch as the game was delayed as officials attempted to regain crowd control. The Tennessee group and the cheerleaders were also forced to leave as debris rained down.

Kiffin held onto the golf ball and showed it as play began to resume.

Ole Miss was able to stop the Tennessee race in the dying seconds.

As Kiffin left the field with a police escort, fans waited for him as he entered the tunnel. One video showed a Volunteers fan shouting “f— you Lane Kiffin, f— you!”

He waved to the crowd and impressively grabbed a water bottle that was thrown from the stands – a lousy coin from whoever threw the trash with a handful of officers standing right there. He then took off his Ole Miss visor and threw it into the crowd and walked away.
