Richards named nine of the Saints, who won the Challenge Cup, the League Leaders’ Trophy and the Grand Final, on matchday 17.
York City Knights outfielder Savannah Andrade will also make her center debut after an impressive season, which included a memorable treble in the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup semi-final victory over the Castleford Tigers.
Rachael Woosey will also make her international debut after moving from Rugby Union to three-time winner St Helens earlier this season. Woosey crossed paths twice in St Helens’ Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup 34-6 win over York in June.
Emily Rudge will captain the team and become the England women’s all-time leader with 24 caps, having made her 2008 debut against this weekend’s opponent France.
Fran Goldthorp, Beth Stott, Hollie Dodd and Paige Travis are all included after making their international debuts earlier this season in Wales’ 60-0 defeat at Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Richards said: “It’s great to have both Savannah and Rachael nominated to make their international debuts this weekend.
“Savannah really worked hard to get this opportunity with her performance on the pitch and her attitude on the sidelines.
“Rachael has impressed since signing at St Helens and is another player who has adapted very quickly to the England squad and earned her place in the squad this weekend.
“We can’t wait to go and test ourselves against strong opposition in France and continue to develop ahead of next year’s Rugby Union World Cup. “
