Man Utd stars express feelings about move to sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – .

A number of Manchester United players are reportedly not convinced that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the right person to take the club forward.

The Norwegian boss is coming under scrutiny after United abandoned the top four last weekend following their 4-2 loss to Leicester.

Cristiano Ronaldo came to the rescue against Atalanta midweek as the Red Devils clinched a spectacular 3-2 Champions League victory, but Solskjaer’s criticism still revolves around.

United continue to support their boss under fire despite agents approaching the Old Trafford club to find them a potential replacement.

But several Man Utd players are “much less convinced” that Solskjaer is the man for the job, according to The Sun.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes intervened in his half-time squad interview against Atalanta as the Red Devils were down 2-0 at the break, suggesting that all is not well in the dressing room.

Bruno Fernandes asked the Old Trafford boss to change his tactics halfway through, as he wanted to be placed in a deeper role to play better.

The former Sporting Lisbon player helped Marcus Rashford bring United back to the 2-1 game.

And that’s a concern shared by other United players as Solskjaer has been guilty of several tactical mistakes throughout the season.

A source told The Sun: “The message is not clear. There is confusion in the team, the players do not understand what the tactics are.

“There is no team, they are just individuals and there are big problems in defense. “

Maguire was not quite in shape for the visit to Foxes but received a surprise start as the United captain was guilty of a mistake in preparing for two of Leicester’s goals.

But Solskjaer raised his hands for rushing the skipper too early.

He said: “When you look at the game afterwards, the four goals we conceded were mediocre. The way we played, we don’t deserve to continue this streak (undefeated away).

“I choose the team, Harry Maguire showed no reaction and I raise my hand if it doesn’t work. If we concede four, I probably made a bad decision. “
