latest travel and test rules for Spain, France, Portugal and Italy – .

International travel is thankfully easier than ever as the Christmas season approaches – which is good news for many Britons looking to get away from it all.
For starters, the red list has now been replaced with just two groups – Covid safe (green) and non Covid safe (red).

This has dramatically increased the number of destinations open to Londoners.

The changes certainly made the holidays easier, but restrictions still apply for entering certain countries.

Good news for vaccinated travelers, you won’t need a Covid test to enter Portugal.

The UK is currently on France’s orange list for entry, meaning travelers who are not fully vaccinated will need a reason to travel to the country.

They will also have to present proof of a negative Covid test.

Fortunately, such restrictions do not apply to fully vaccinated travelers.

The government website states: “Fully vaccinated travelers do not need an essential reason to travel to France and do not need to self-isolate upon arrival.

“As of July 18, fully vaccinated travelers no longer need to show proof of a negative test result before traveling. “
