The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a series of romantic photos of themselves behind the scenes during the Earthshot Award ceremony.
The couple, who have been married for more than 10 years after meeting at St Andrews University, have rarely shown affection in public.
But the new set of photos, posted on Instagram, shows Prince William lovingly looking into his wife’s eyes behind the scenes at the recent eco-prizes.
Another shot shows Kate wrapping her arm around William.
At the ceremony, which took place earlier this week at Alexandra Palace in north London, the Duchess presented an award while the Duke delivered a speech on the impact of climate change and the importance of protecting the ‘environment.
At the opening ceremony on Sunday, he called a rallying cry for the next generation to continue to ‘demand change’ as innovative green projects around the world received £ 1million.
At the end of the BBC televised event, William took the stage to say to the audience, “I want to say something to the young people watching tonight.
“For too long, we haven’t done enough to protect the planet for your future, the Earthshot is for you.
“In the next 10 years, we will act. We will find the solutions to repair our planet.
“Please keep learning, keep demanding changes and don’t give up hope. We will meet these challenges. “
The younger generation were inspired by the actions of Swedish teenage climate change activist Greta Thunberg, who began her Friday protests outside her country’s parliament in August 2018, inspiring children around the world to organize school strikes.
Harry Potter star Emma Watson, wearing a wedding dress made up of 10 Oxfam gowns, and Lady Emma Thompson were among those who walked the green carpet at the ceremony.
