Jay-Z and Beyonce sell New Orleans mansion that caught fire in July – .

Power torque advertises the 1925 pad, asking for $ 4,450,000. The 13,292 square foot block has 7 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms and was originally a Presbyterian church. It has since been redeveloped to not only house the rich and famous, but also to host special events.

Tucked away in the historic NOLA Gardens district – and a short walk from the main Mardi Gras parade route – weddings, shows, and major record stars and business executives are hosted by the house.

It’s easy to see why the rapper and singer loved this place… the acoustics of the mansion are second to none. From the list… a Grammy winner once said, “I did my best writing, watching the sunset from the rooftop garden!” The list doesn’t reveal who said this, but it could easily have been Jay or Bey.

Either way, the 3-story building with 26-foot ceilings features Spanish Baroque architecture. The building itself is divided into a main residence with 3 apartments of approximately 1000 square feet each.

A big bonus… the house will be painted to the taste of the new owner before the transaction is concluded.

Registration comes almost 3 months after the mansion caught fire. The fire lasted just over 2 hours, and it was classified as a simple arson attack.

We don’t know how much damage the building suffered, but we imagine the Carter’s left it in perfect condition… so the next owner can let the good times roll !!!
