Gwyneth Paltrow attributes her status as a newlywed to her vibrant sex life at 49, she said on the episode of Red Table Talk on Wednesday.
Paltrow, whose Netflix series “Sex, Love, and Goop” was released last week, has joined RTT co-hosts Jada Pinkett-Smith and Pinkett Smith’s mother Adrienne Banfield Norris (“Gammy”), for talk about women’s sexual health.
Sometimes the conversation hinted at their own sex life. Pinkett-Smith has stated that she tries to be responsible for what she wants sexually but, after 26 years of marriage, it’s still difficult. Norris said that after five years of marriage, she and her husband can talk about anything “but the conversation about sex is difficult.”
Paltrow hasn’t talked much about living in her bedroom, but when Pinkett-Smith told her, “We read you have one of the best sex these days, which, yes!” Paltrow beamed. “And you are 49 years old! Pinkett-Smith added.
“But I am a newlywed,” she said. “So that’s cheating, you know, maybe a little bit.” “
Paltrow married writer and producer Brad Falchuk in 2018. She and her ex-husband, musician Chris Martin, announced their divorce in 2014.
Paltrow once talked about the benefits of finding love later in life.
Last week, Paltrow told today’s Savannah Guthrie that she was grateful to have met her “dream man halfway through her life.” “The quality of our communication and our friendship is really exciting,” she said.
Paltrow said she hopes her relationship can inspire others not to let go of love because of age or past relationship experiences.
” I think [it’s] wonderful for people who have had a marriage or a relationship that hasn’t worked out to understand that it’s really possible to meet the man of your dreams halfway through life, ”she told Today.
