Gemma Collins shared a glimpse of her latest health boost – as she told fans she was giving up sugary foods and waking up early to start her workouts.

The 40-year-old former TOWIE star proudly told her Instagram followers that she was going “sugar free” as she shared a video of a grueling shoot on Tuesday morning.

Defiant Gemma has revealed that after a partying summer, she’s back on a fitness regimen to boost her immune system during the winter.

Speaking to the camera on her Instagram page, the reality icon said, “Hello everyone, I’m back on a crazy fitness regime. I had a brilliant summer.

“But now I’m going sugar free baby!” The GC is going to be sugar free.

Explaining that she has already started her sugar-free diet, Gemma told her 2.2 million subscribers, “You know what, for two days I didn’t eat sugar.”

“Love it, don’t get me wrong the headaches have been terrible, but it will be worth it.”

The reality TV favorite added, “I’m back on a huge fitness, guys,” telling her friends not to call her after 7pm because she’ll be sleeping in bed.

She added, “You can’t have me between 5am and 7am, that’s when I get up in the morning to do my workout. I will take my steps during the day, I hope that motivates someone today.

Gemma finished the video post advising her subscribers to take care of themselves during the winter months.

She said: “Winters are coming, we have to maintain our immune system and drink lots of water. “

Earlier this year, Gemma wowed her fans when she revealed an incredible 3.5 weight loss after a major lifestyle overhaul.

Speaking about her progress earlier this year, she wrote on her Instagram page, “My body is getting stronger every day, it’s a great feeling.

“I hope you all have said to each other how beautiful you are today. “

Gemma also recently shared that she had an empty wardrobe as she sold her size 26 clothes, which are now too big for her after the weight loss.

Speaking to New Magazine in April about her fitness regimen, Gemma said, “I feel more confident than ever.

“I don’t weigh myself every week, although to be honest I did this week and lost another half a stone. I’m on a high fat diet – it’s all personal though, what works for me won’t work for you.

She went on to say that it doesn’t really matter what the scales say, but it’s more how you feel about yourself.

A high fat diet involves a person reducing the number of carbohydrates they consume and replacing them with healthy fats.

She continued, “It’s nice to be able to fit into smaller clothes, but more than anything it’s nice to feel healthy. “
