Dr Juan Carlos Jaramillo, Chief Medical Officer of Valneva, told reporters in a briefing: “Regarding the contract, we currently cannot comment further at this point.

“But with the positive results of our pivotal phase three trial, we believe that VLA 2001 will have validated potential value as our differentiated vaccine candidate in the Covid-19 vaccine landscape.

“Of course, we are waiting for further approval and more updates will be offered in the coming days. ”
