Asia and Africa Chambers of Commerce and Industry Vice President Anrinle Adekunle said the French government will partner with Nigeria to empower hundreds of young people to become agricultural entrepreneurs.
According to a statement released in Lagos on Sunday, Adekunle said this as he addressed reporters on his return after leading a delegation of Nigerian agricultural entrepreneurs to France for a livestock summit.
He said: “The ‘Ambition Africa’ themed meeting was the main trade event between Africa and France. It was held in Paris with over 100 young people from across Africa who were entrepreneurs such as private ranchers, feed manufacturers, veterinarians and others interested in l breeding in Nigeria. They had the opportunity to share ideas with their peers in France.
Adekunle added that the cooperation would benefit both Nigeria and France.
“This trip was in line with the promise made by French President Emmanuel Macron during his visit to Nigeria in 2018.
“With this development, greater cooperation is expected because the resulting experience will be a blessing for both countries. We also congratulate the new Ambassador of France in Nigeria, Emmanuelle Blatmann ”, he declared.
