Flash trailer blasts DC movie multiverse at FanDome – .

The DC comic book multiverse will collide in the 2022s Flash, a show that, judging by the first DC FanDome trailer, hopes to capitalize on the best elements of Zack Snyder’s “DCEU”. From director Andy Muschietti (This) and screenwriter Christina Hodson (Birds of prey, Bat girl), the film finds Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen at the link between his world and the one where none other than Bruce Wayne by Michael Keaton of the years 1989 Batman protect the streets. Miller was on hand to present the trailer, although he was also on the set of the film, which is currently in production.

Flash is based on the infamous DC Comics screenplay Breaking point. In the comics, Barry Allen wakes up to a very different DC universe. Superman does not seem to exist. Aquaman’s home, Atlantis, is at war with the people of Wonder Woman in Themyscira. In Gotham City, Bruce Wayne was murdered in front of his parents, and his father, Thomas Wayne, became the Dark Knight instead. Barry is the only person who remembers what once was, letting him and his reality-bending speed try to undo everything that happened.

To complete the cast for Flash are Ron Livingston as the father of Barry Henry (replacing Billy Crudup); Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, returning from the Snyder Cut of Justice League; Temuera Morrison as Aquaman’s father, Tom Curry; and newcomer Sasha Calle as Supergirl.

Flash will also see the triumphant return of Ben Affleck under his version of the Bat hood. In August 2020, Muschietti told Vanity Fair that the character was “a very important part of the emotional impact of the film. Affleck’s interaction and relationship between Barry and Wayne will bring an emotional level that we have never seen before.

Flash is slated for a theatrical release on November 4, 2022.
