A furious Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly erupted in Manchester United’s recent half-time game against Atalanta and has given his new teammates both barrels in a verbal tirade.
United made a shock start to the Champions League home game and quickly found themselves 2-0 at Old Trafford, much to Ronaldo’s fury.
The Portuguese talisman took the blame on his old shoulders and, according to the Sun, took to toasting his teammates at halftime and demanding to know whether or not they were ashamed of the opening 45 minutes.

“He asked if they weren’t ashamed and said that’s not how Manchester United behaved in front of their own fans.
“He told them they had to win the game and, if they didn’t, they might not qualify for the next leg of the Champions League. “

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is now under increasing pressure to keep his post at the helm, then allegedly took over and added his point of view, according to the source.
The Norwegian reportedly told his men the game was still up for grabs if they played as a team and scored the first goal in the second half.
The comments reported by Ronaldo seemed to have the desired effect overall, after United managed to catch up with their opponents in the second half and score the three goals needed to win the game.
The Red Devils hit three to take the lead in Group F – Ronaldo taking the winner’s lead in the 81st minute and causing scenes of euphoria under the lights of Old Trafford.
United are now top of Group F and favorites to advance to the round of 16
Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire respectively scored the other goals United needed to take the Italians’ three points.
The Red Devils are now building momentum in their crucial weekend fixture against Liverpool, as they welcome Jurgen Klopp’s unbeaten side to Manchester.
